Gavin is passionate about helping people manage pain and stiffness and move more comfortably. He takes time to understand what’s troubling you, then tailors each session using the techniques best suited to your needs. His aim is to help you make meaningful progress without recommending more appointments than you need.

Gavin offers sports massage, deep tissue massage, deep tissue cupping massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM). He also offers Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) and Connective Tissue Release (CTR) to help with body re-alignment. Gavin is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).  

Anne brings warmth and a gentle, reassuring approach to every treatment. She takes time to help each client feel comfortable and cared for, creating space to relax and unwind.

Anne offers reflexology, including fertility, maternity, lymph drainage, facial, menopause and pain management reflexology. She also offers Swedish massage, natural lift facial massage, Indian head massage, Hopi ear candling, Thai foot massage, manual lymph drainage massage, warm bamboo massage, pregnancy massage, Reiki and NADA. She also volunteers her time providing reflexology treatments through our local hospice.

Anne is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR).

Sharon has over 13 years’ experience as a holistic therapist. She brings a warm, thoughtful approach to her work, taking time to understand what each client needs and tailoring their treatment accordingly.

Sharon offers: Holistic facials, including facial cupping and gua sha, Facial reflexology and Zone Facelift (Ziggie Bergman methods), Indian head, Swedish, pregnancy and oncology massage, Oncology scar therapy, General, maternity and lymph drainage reflexology, General, cosmetic and auricular acupuncture (NADA), SkinPen Micro needling and a range of medical acupuncture facial treatments. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR).

Maeve is a herbalist and holistic therapist who studied for a Licentiate in Herbal Medicine in Portlaoise. She takes a thoughtful, individual approach, drawing on her passion for herbal medicine, nutritional advice and holistic therapies to support her clients’ wellbeing. 

With over 20 years’ experience as a reflexologist, Maeve is also trained in holistic and and Indian head massage. She is a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Irish Association of Master Medical Herbalists (IAMMH).

Isabella is a complementary therapist with a calm, caring approach. She takes time to listen and tailors each treatment to how you’re feeling and what you need on the day. Her aim is to help you feel comfortable, supported and able to unwind.

She offers reflexology, Swedish massage, Indian head massage, hot stone massage, Reiki, crystal therapy, holistic facials, buccal massage, NADA and sculpting rejuvenation facial massage. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Chloe wants you you to feel listened to, supported and comfortable throughout your appointment and she has an ability to target those tight, painful areas to release tension and ease your tired muscles. She’ll talk with you about what feels comfortable and adapt the treatment accordingly.

Chloe has a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and specialises in sports massage and deep tissue massage. She works with a wide range of clients, from people recovering from sports injuries to those looking for support with stiffness, mobility and everyday movement. She has experience working with clients who prefer a gentle approach as well as high-level athletes, including strongman competitors and rugby players at the Rugby World Cup. Chloe is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Michelle brings a warm, experienced approach to every treatment. She takes time to help you feel comfortable and at ease, so you can settle in and unwind.

A qualified holistic therapist since 2016, Michelle trained in holistic massage and aromatherapy massage and has extensive experience in massage and beauty therapy. She qualified as a reflexologist in 2023 and has continued to develop her skills in maternity massage, hot stone massage and Indian head massage. Michelle is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Jackie has spent years developing her skills in the holistic treatments she loves. Her warm, gentle approach helps clients feel comfortable and at ease, giving them time to slow down and relax. 

Jackie offers reflexology, lymphatic drainage massage, Indian head massage, Swedish massage, buccal massage, holistic facials, natural facial lift massage, sculpting rejuvenation facial massage, NADA, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy and Access Bars. Jackie is a member of FHT.

Anne-Marie, Proprietor of Airmid Therapies has over 15 years experience as a complementary therapist and is qualified in a wide range of different types of Reflexology, Massages, Body Realignment (KCR, CTR) and Reiki.

Anne-Marie is a qualified teacher (of the therapies she is trained in) and an Assessor. She has started her own Academy - Airmid Academy - Providing excellence in Complementary Therapy Training in the Newry area. Our Mission

Airmid Therapies exists to give you a place where you can step out of the physical and emotional stresses of everyday life, even if only for an hour. We cannot remove the stressors waiting for you outside, but we can help you feel calmer, more relaxed and rejuvenated so you can return to you life better able to cope.

Airmid - Our Origin

Anne-Marie's first connection with reflexology came through her father. He received a treatment once a month for a painful hip that eventually needed to be replaced. Her father use to say "I am really, really sore today. I must be due reflexology," then checking his diary and discovering that his appointment was the following day. Anne-Marie had never received reflexology herself, but she knew it helped him, and that stayed with her. During a gap year, after finishing a computer science degree in university, Anne-Marie decided to train as a Reflexologist. 

She began with Reiki while she was away travelling in New Zealand. After returning home for a family celebration, she started reflexology training near Newry, alongside massage and aromatherapy. From the beginning of the course she had a gut feeling that she was on the right path. She had always wanted her own business, so once she qualified there was no other option in her mind than to begin treating clients. She felt she had nothing to lose, trusted her instinct and opened the business straight away. she have continued to follow that instinct ever since.

What's in a name!

The Celtic Goddess Airmid is one of healing and was especially noted for her passion for using herbs. Airmid is from the Irish race of Gods known as the Tuatha De Danann. She was the daughter of the head physician and healer of the Tuatha De Danann, Dian Cécht. He was a jealous Father and legend has it, when Airmid's brother Miach began to show that he was an excellent healer, his father killed him in a jealous rage.

Airmid began to visit the grave of her brother frequently where she found 365 healing herbs growing from his grave, one for each joint and organ of his body. She carefully collected the herbs, noted their healing properties and arranged them on her cloak in relation to their use on the body. Dian Cécht discovered what she was doing and shook the cloak to dispose of the knowledge, thus the full wisdom of the herbal healing is now lost to all, save Airmid herself.
